Circus Records is an independent record label founded by Joshua “Flux Pavilion” Steele, Shaun “Doctor P” Brockhurst,[2] Simon Swan and Earl Falconer in 2009.[3] The label is recognised worldwide for bringing dubstep to the mainstream, doing so with the Flux Pavilion song “Bass Cannon” that reached number 56 in the UK Singles Chart. His collaboration with Doctor P, “Superbad”, charted at number 61. Kanye West and Jay-Z sampled the Flux Pavilion song “I Can’t Stop” in “Who Gon Stop Me”. Steele’s extended play Blow the Roof also charted at number 60 on the UK Albums Chart.
