Viralbpm - Embracing Electronic Sounds of Tomorrow

Axtone Records

Axtone Records is a British-Swedish electronic music label founded by the Swedish DJ Axwell in 2005 , with the discreet complicity of James Sefton. He is now based in London. Originally intended to host Axwell’s personal outings, Axtone has subsequently dedicated its catalog to several international artists who have more or less marked their genres, including names such as Sebastian Ingrosso, Dirty South, TV Rock, Abel Ramos, Laidback Luke, Steve Angello, Adrian Lux, Michael Calfan, Hard Rock Sofa, Arty, Thomas Gold and Deniz Koyu.

Songs such as Together by Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, I Found U , It ‘s True, Axwell’s Open Your Heart, Adrian Lux’s Teenage Crime, Michael Calfan’s Resurrection and In My Mind (Axwell Mix) from Ivan Gough and Feenixpawl marked the different periods of the label and electronic music in general. Many contemporary artists often refer to these pieces as having been inspirations.

The Axtone label has also acquired a reputation for graphic excellence, due to the Breakfast Design studio, with which Axtone has collaborated since its launch in 2005. A booklet dedicated to their visual creations has also been proposed in a limited edition (500 copies ) of the box “Axtone Ten” on the occasion of 10 years of the label.
