This tune adds a new wrinkle to the fledgling imprint that has blossomed as part of Marcus Schossow’s Code Red family. The label has welcomed talents like Özgür Can, Stephan Duy, Havoc & Lawn and more onto its roster to deliver a more underground sound.
“Lies” brings a smooth atmosphere that sets it apart from the standard house track. Slick arps dot the topline of the record, while a thumping bassline also delivers a groovy energy that simply cannot be denied. Add in some unique tribal drums in the breakdown and the result is a smash hit ready to take on dancefloors worldwide.
Marcus Schossow launched Code Black using his Englafjord alias to deliver “Alone Out There” with deep, dark basslines and eerie vocals. Discoplex followed proudly with “Space” ratcheting up the intensity for his next steps in the music scene of 2018.
The releases continued with Italian talent Beatone, who marked the spirits with intense sounds on “Valahr” EP and Portuguese Falco with French Carter Grey who unleashed “Ghana” on massive “Spring Sampler” collection on Code Black, which also includes “Tre Gringos” by Dawiid & Josef K and Brosef.
The latest record came from Stockholm-based talent Özgür Can, who paired up with Very Addictive for “Number One” and Stephan Duy’s track ‘Wander’.
