Having been a resident artist on Axtone with a wealth of releases, Shapov is one of the select few in the current dance music scene that can ensure a quality release every time. This time, following up on his sophomore EP on Axtone titled ‘Four Corners’, the young prodigy returns with a brand new remix of Callum Beattie‘s song titled ‘We Are Stars’, out on 3Beat Music label.
Taking things on a more melodic route with the new remix, Shapov transforms Callum’s indie influenced original into a progressive house anthem. Atmospheric piano chords and acoustic guitars combined with Callum Beattie’s magical voice and Shapov’s signature drums take the young Russian’s remix to another level, bringing back tinges of old-school progressive house nostalgia.
Russian supertalent Shapov has been on a roll since his departure from Hard Rock Sofa a few years ago, crafting a blazing solo career for himself through releases such as ‘Party People’ and ‘Everybody’ with fellow producers Meg / Nerak, and his recent hit ‘Belong’ with Axwell.
