Wess is back on Code Red, and this time he brings his good friends of Tight Lexor with him for the groovy tune “Montenegro”. After the beautiful “Redemption” last year, it was only a matter of time the Croatian Wess would return to Code Red. “Montenegro” is a disco influenced track that has been in the making for a long while. Marcus Schössow tested out this beauty during the Amsterdam Dance Event in 2015 and it went off! We basically decided there on the dance floor that we had to release Wess and Tight Lexor their funky tune on Code Red.
“Montenegro” keeps building up the energy and becomes a bigger track every second. The disco influenced collaboration between Wess and Tight Lexor breaths funkiness and is a real club pleaser. You would expect loads of samples from the eighties, well those were in it, but in the end Wess and Tight Lexor made “Montenegro” a hundred percent original track and that is something we applaud them for with such an old school sound.
2015 was a good year for Wess with releases on Code Red, Flamingo, Protocol and BMD Friends. The Croatian continues to provide the world with groovy house music. Tight Lexor isn't new to the scene either. The three Italians have been releasing funky tunes since 2014 and are inspired by the French disco sounds from the past.
Searching for a funky summer tune that makes you groove? Stop searching, because “Montenegro” by Wess & Tight Lexor is all you need. This masterpiece will set many clubs on fire this summer and proves Code Red its versatility once again.
