United by Music for Charity is an electronic music album that contains 17 tracks by 26 artists. All signed by some emerging talents, as well as artists who have released tracks on Spinnin' Records, Revealed Recordings, Armada Music, just to name a few labels.
Each track of United by Music for Charity covers one of the Sustainable Development Goals set forth by the United Nations. This is done by a combination of instrumentals and vocals in some cases. In addition to donating all of the revenue from album sales and streams to unicef, the artists hope that these songs will help raise awareness for these issues that our planet faces.
The album will be released on December 10th and will be available on all digital stores and streaming services including YouTube and Soundcloud. As mentioned before, all of the revenue from album sales and streams will go to UNICEF in order to raise awareness for these issues that our planet faces.
There will be two ways to receive the album. The first is by voluntary donation: On December 10th, a United post will be published on the Facebook page where you can donate directly and recieve a download link for the entire album. The second is by regular album purchase through all digital stores.
United by Music for Charity: From India and Indonesia to Greece, Italy, Ireland and Perù
The initiative is supported by Foxa, Kila, High ‘n' Rich, eedion, Draxtell, Thedetstrike, 98.20.21, RMCM, Blackcode, Loudway & Hundred, FaderX, Rudeejay, Magnus, Boothed, Kawar, Exiled, Mavjak, MorganJ and TNO. You can find them on the interactive map we've created here.
All the artists were free to create any sort of track in any genre. The Album consists of a wide variety of songs, ranging from Future House to Hardstyle, as well as some unexpected Drum and Bass and also Pop music from artists you wouldn't normally associate with such genres. United will therefore be full of traces of different genres including Future House, Electro house, Psy-trance, Hardstyle and many others.
Moreover, as the organizer mentions, without all of the amazing artists and special contributors there would be no album. Among the latter, Valerio Romano for working on the logo, Alex Giansanti, better known as Akral, who also designed the artwork for the album itself.
