Today marks the dawn of AU-1 – the new tech house side project from Thomas Gold.
A return to the German producer's house and techno roots, AU-1's debut release “Oh Yo Bah” is out today on Mark Knight's legendary Toolroom imprint; a brand known internationally as one of the most innovative and passionate labels in dance music.
The echoing and tribal tech house beat marks the first of many releases from AU-1, as the project has already aligned itself with top labels in the genre and additional releases slated in the coming months. “I am super excited about the launch of my AU-1 alias project as a vehicle for me to go back to my tech-house and tribal house roots. I've been working on this for quite a while and finally I can start it with a release on Toolroom. I've lined up a bunch more AU-1 tracks and I can't wait to get them out,” Gold says.
