With only a few dates left on their ‘Common Ground‘ tour celebrating the release of their latest album, Above & Beyond are releasing their new single ‘Red Rocks‘ on Anjunabeats.
Awaited since their memorable set at the ABGT250 last year at the Amphitheater Gorge of the North West of the United States, the track is taking its name from the legendary concert venue where the track debuted, ‘Red Rocks'.
“So if there's a beat dropping in a rocky outcropping, will the kids dance?”, Above & Beyond asked the population of Denver, CO and they're all in agreement – ‘Red Rocks‘, rocks. A bruising new club cut from Above & Beyond, named after a fascinating geological anomaly that moonlights as a bloody fine concert venue.
Fresh from the release of their ‘Common Ground' LP which saw the U.K. trio enter the Billboard album chart at a career high #3, ‘Red Rocks' is a gritty aggregate of tech trance on a bedrock of galvanised groove that'll transmute the dance floor's stoniest feet into flowing magma, expertly carved courtesy of Jono, Paavo and Tony.
A new euphoric anthem for the trio, to which they have added a feminine vocal precisely dosed to add lightness to the break, where the rest of the piece is classic of the last releases Anjunabeats. A superb Progressive melody, powerful basslines and a production with little onions.
