Shot on location in Tunisia, the clip follows a young girl who leaves home and embarks on a thrilling adventure, with both Klingande and Krishane making guest appearances alongside the video’s heroine.
The music video is a metaphoric portrayal of the meaning behind ‘Rebel Yell’, in Klingande’s own words, “It’s about being human in today’s world, it’s a reminder to be the better versions of ourselves.”
Released earlier this month, ‘Rebel Yell’ has surpassed 2 million Spotify Streams to date. The single, witnesses Jamaican artist Krishane take the helm on vocals, lacing the track with Caribbean vibes, though staying true to Klingande’s signature sound.
It follows a strong succession of hits, like the multi-platinum selling single ‘Jubel’, ‘Somewhere New’ feat. M-22 (42M Spotify Streams), his clever rework of ‘Pumped Up’ (32M Spotify Streams), and his recent Autograf x Dragonette collaboration ‘Hope For Tomorrow’.
Klingande returned to this year’s Miami Music Week, where he hosted another sold-out edition of ‘Klingande’s Playground’.
Joined by the likes of Jonas Blue, Michael Calfan B2B The Magician and Le Youth, the ‘Jubel’ hitmaker was also joined by ‘Hope For Tomorrow’ collaborators Autograf for the momentous occasion.
