Fresh off a relentless summer tour spanning across multiple continents and his debut on the Tomorrowland Belgium mainstage, Russian starlet Shapov returns home to Axtone Records with a breathtaking new single alongside LA/Singaporean trio Trouze, titled ‘The Way'.
First debuted by Shapov during his support set for axwell Λ ingrosso's sold-out Heineken Music Hall show at the Amsterdam Dance Event last year, ‘The Way' embodies the commercial side of dance music while maintaining a classic house feel. With haunting piano melodies, mesmerizing flutes, and an impressive topline vocal, the forthcoming single is one for the books.
Aside from a heavy touring schedule over the summer, Shapov has recently released a four-track EP titled ‘Four Corners' with remixes by Corey James, NEW_ID and Jyye on Axtone, featuring collaborations with Meg / Nerak, Rookies, and Beverly Pills and a brand new remix of Callum Beattie‘s song titled ‘We Are Stars', out on 3Beat Music label.
Russian supertalent Shapov has been on a roll since his departure from Hard Rock Sofa a few years ago, crafting a blazing solo career for himself through releases such as ‘Party People' and ‘Everybody' with fellow producers Meg / Nerak, and his recent hit ‘Belong' with Axwell.
Trouze have also been making strides into the electronic scene, having had their first Billboard Top 20 hit in 2016, alongside elephante and Damon Sharpe. They have additionally amassed over 60 top 20 hits as songwriters and producers, having worked with acts such as pitbull, Magic!, Santana, Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj, and others.
