Marcus Schossow‘s label Code Red welcomes back a familiar face in the form of David Pietras, who presents his fantastic “Dreams EP“. david pietras has graced the imprint once before, releasing “Opia” in September 2016 via the Code Red Presents: Gott & Blandat EP.
The Swede also welcomes Russian producer Rovack onto the EP to collaborate on two records. David Pietras begins the EP with its title track, “Dreams”. This first record delves deep into Pietras' spellbook, using mystical stabs and an entrancing bassline. Then, the EP moves into two stunning collaborations with the aforementioned Rovack.
“Bliss” bring a groovier sound to the table, with powerful drums joining space-age synths. The Pete Tong-debuted “The Pursuit” rounds out the EP with a darker vibe; the eerie sub-bass pairing excellently with a fantastic melody. David Pietras is an up-and-comer with an already impressive reputation.
His releases have graced labels like sebjak's Bibliotheque Records with “Alone“, Feenixpawl's eclypse records with “Sun Pillar” and bmd Ψ friends with “Hide“. Plus, his tracks have been supported by the likes of Still Young, matisse & sadko, Tiësto and more. Rovack is an artist working intensely to get his foot in the door in the incredibly frantic dance music industry.
He has encountered vast successes in a short period of time. Having his track “I Wanna” with Killmod3 featured on Nicky Romero's Protocol Recordings Miami sampler earlier in 2017.
