Known for his beloved collaboration with Tritonal “Hung Up” featuring Emma Gatsby, Sj is back with “Reflection” featuring Anna Panacaldi, his first single on Tritonal's imprint Enhanced Music.
An emotionally charged melodic house tune, “Reflection” tells a story of heartbreak and loss. Anna Pancaldi's strong evoking vocals combined Sj's impressive production makes for an all around stellar record. The accompanying music video features Sj traversing through oceans, forests and fields attempting to reconnect with his partner.
Sj is not only passionate about music, he started an organization dually based in Nashville and Calcutta, India called One Life, which helps transform places of poverty in Indian slums to places of possibility. Among other projects, One Life has created a safe space called “Our Dream Home” which is home to 25 girls who broke free from poverty and physical/sexual abuse situations, and acts as a resource for them to live comfortably with long term care and development.
The home saves them from the slums and gives them educational and vocational services so they can grow. Without this home, these girls would be in extreme poverty, living under a tarp with no electricity, no running water and no clean water.
Sj is a singer/songwriter originally from Nashville who moved to Los Angeles 5 years ago to pursue an artist project of his own. He always loved the energy and cultural elements of dance music, and now approaches it from a different side, combining his music with his extensive experience in songwriting and musicianship from his time in Nashville.
