After almost seven years, one of Axtone‘s highly-anticipated tracks is about to be released, at last. Premiered by Danny Howard and billed as an Axwell vs NEW_ID Remode, Pauls Paris sees his production, titled “Make Your Mind Up” featuring Moses York on vocals, being listed in BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems.
Formerly known as an original titled “Make Your Mind Up”, the track has not been tainted and its vibe is still pure. “His Name is Pauls Paris and he's from Australia, there is a very special track from this guy on my desk that i have to make available for this Summer“, Axwell qouted from BBC1's Swedish House Mafia documentary on 2011.
It's great to see the big room house scene pull itself out of the rut it has been in the past few years. Once Swedish House Mafia split in 2013, it was like the identity of big-room itself had been stripped away.
Landing on the desk of Sweden's hiatus of the house nook Axwell, Pauls Paris' production tip hasn't gone unnoticed. Profiling the music of this young Sydney sider as ‘special', Axwell was the first to be seduced, making sure Pete Tong knew too. Undeniably talented and street savvy in the evolution of dance music, it wasn't long before Axwell noticed, made the move and signed this sound individual to his premier label Axtone.
