We were surprised as it is a far stretch from the big-room days Tommy Trash initially built his audience on.
“Sinners” leans more toward a release you’d expect from artists like Foxes or Mike Mago, containing melancholy house percussion and piano paired with a hypnotic beat.
“Sinners” is another example of artists embracing positive changes of the times, for the better – a single with passion and soul, and, perhaps, an indication of new avenues to be explored in the future.
Premiered on Billboard, Tommy Trash‘s latest tune “Sinners” see him explore the intimate side of groove.
A skilled pianist, he worked around a bedroomy vocal by Daisy Guttridge to compose a chill house ballad that’s both romantic and danceable, something for getting lost in moment with a special someone. The hook is a bit tropical with a persistent beat, a high point between the verses’ low-lit valleys.
