It was September 29th. In a post on Facebook, the Volt & State duo, who had been supported by Nicky Romero on Protocol, announced his separation after four years of existence (only) without knowing the reasons for their breakup.
Although it is relatively common to see groups separating in the music industry, the separation of Martin Volt and Quentin State had taken their fans short because the Dutch were a rising value. For group artists, the individual trajectories are often diverse and can be a risky bet, evidenced by the example of Shapov who shines in Axtone while his comrade who kept the name Hard Rock Sofa disappeared from the landscape.
Anyway, Quentin State has made the choice to continue alone under a new alias namely Quentyn. To present and initiate this new start, the dutch reveals ‘Moving On', a title featuring the vocals of Robin Vane, which will be released on Enroute Records – his new label for his new project!
The title that has already been premiered by Nicky Romero in his Radio Show 253 and in Don Diablo‘s hexagon Radio is very pleasant and leaves auguring good things for the continuation.
“Moving On (ft. Robin Vane)” starts on a very quiet break, almost hovering to conclude on a gradual drop to the slow pace and very good bill.
