Ever since Eric Prydz announced the creation of his newest imprint Pryda Presents last month, we at Viralbpm have been patiently awaiting the first official release from the label, and this week, the wait is over. For its inaugural release, eric prydz has tapped Newcastle's own Cristoph, who's no stranger to big releases having had the initial 8-track release on Hot Since 82's Knee Deep In Sound, among releases on the likes of True Soul, Noir, and Toshi Yoshi. Listen to cristoph – Feel below.
With Cristoph opening for EPIC 5.0 and several Ibiza slots with Prydz this summer, having the new imprint's first release be Cristoph's “Feel” featuring Jem Cooke comes as no surprise. Cristoph sets the tone with his characteristic bouncy beat and understated synths, providing the perfect backdrop for Jem Cooke's calm, yet forceful, vocals. Cristoph is able to bring the track up and back nicely throughout for beautiful, picturesque progressive tech house release to start off Prydz's newest label.
“Feel” possesses a dark, techy vibe, and makes excellent use of percussion sounds such as the tambourine, cymbals and shakers. A lovely reverb-soaked vocal by Jem Cooke fits well in the track and avoids clashes with the percussive instruments. The drop's synths correspond well with the hard kick & bass and creates an epic vibe on the dancefloor!
Cristoph – Feel is definitely one new single and imprint not to miss. Pick up your copy here today!
