Legendary DJ/producer, Tiësto, and close collaborator and fellow producer, KSHMR, release their new single “Harder,” featuring vocals from Talay Riley, out now on Musical Freedom Records.
“Harder” lives up to its name using heavy bass drops, and chopped-up vocal samples in between expansive build-ups, all leading to a sun-drenched, summer anthem.
The new single arrives just in time to cap off the perfect summer playlist, embodying the energy and levity of the season and guaranteed to pack the dance floor at any event.
This release marks the first collaboration between the DJs since their explosive track, “Secrets” (feat. VASSY), which has racked up over 135 million streams worldwide and remains a festival favorite to this day.
With a remarkable career spanning over 20 years, Tiësto remains one of the top dance music acts in the world.
Revered for his live shows as well as for his production and remix work, Tiësto is a globally celebrated DJ that has been named “The Greatest DJ of All Time” by Mixmag and the #1 DJ by Rolling Stone.
Through revolutionary moments such as being the first DJ to open the Olympic Games and headlining festivals like Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Stereosonic, Tomorrowland, Ultra and more, he has helped pave the way for today’s modern music landscape.
His 2014 album, A Town Called Paradise, yielded Tiësto his first platinum single in the United States with “Wasted” [featuring Matthew Koma] and his first gold single “Red Lights.”
In 2015, Tiësto was awarded a Grammy® in the Best Remixed Recording, Non Classical category for his remix of John Legend’s “All Of Me.” This was Tiësto’s first Grammy Award and second Grammy nomination.
An American born of Kashmiri-Indian descent, KSHMR (pronounced Kashmir) was raised on the traditions of Bollywood films and family trips to his father’s homeland.
Bridging his Indian culture with electronic music influences, KSHMR would garner a quickly growing fan base through his rich sound and orchestral productions.
Releasing successful singles such as “Megalodon,” “Bazaar” and “Secrets” on labels including Spinnin’ and Musical Freedom.
Last year KSHMR was awarded DJ Mag’s prestigious accolade of Best New Live Act, and climbed to number 12 on their Top 100 DJ list.
