[av_textblock size=” font_color=” color=”] Mike Mago continues his streak of successful collabs, now working with much praised DJ/producer Leon Lour on their collab single ‘Higher’, a true vocal house gem made for sun drenched dance floors this summer.
Dutch DJ Mike Mago seems to have a subscription on delivering these feelgood house tunes. After his 2014 breakthrough hit single ‘Outlines’ took him to the stars, he continued to stay on top of his game last year, blasting out two major tracks on his home imprint BMKLTSCH (early 2015’s ‘What A Love’ and the following Rogerseventytwo collab ‘Meant To Be’).
Following this, mister Mago was invited for some high profile remixes, working his magic on three UK Top 5 singles (Avicii’s ‘The Night’, Clean Bandit’s ‘Stronger’, David Zowie’s ‘House Every Weekend’), and released an overwhelming house tune in the shape of his 2015 summer gem ‘Deeper Love’.
Following his Rogerseventytwo collab, he ventured into a brand new collab earlier this year with KC Lights, presenting the much acclaimed ‘Daylight’.
This is now followed up by working with upcoming artist Leon Lour, the London DJ/producer most known for his refined remix work (including a sweet bootleg of Earth, Wind And Fire’s ‘September’) as well as house tracks incorporating catchy vocals and melodics.
In short, here’s two artists who know how to let the sun shine. ‘Higher’ is all you expect it to be, a wonderful singalong vibe blended with a tasty dance groove, made for both clubs, festival and radio audiences.
As Mike Mago explains: “It was an absolute honor and pleasure to work with the talented Leon Lour. I think we managed to make a track that breathes positive vibes. Really happy with this outcome!”
