Hot on the heels of the Original, Axtone delivers a bumper release package that further showcases the strength of Shapov & trouze's ‘The Way' whilst shining a light on a plethora of new global talents.
There's something for everyone here, with all remixers making their debut on the label Marcus Santoro (Australia), Lucas Silow (Sweden), Pete K (Portugal), Tom Tyger (France), Sini & RMA (Turkey) have all brought their A game. Closing up the package is an acoustic version from Trouze themselves.
‘The Way' was first debuted by Shapov during his support set for Axwell Λ Ingrosso's sold-out Heineken Music Hall show at the Amsterdam Dance Event last year, ‘The Way' embodies the commercial side of dance music while maintaining a classic house feel. With haunting piano melodies, mesmerizing flutes, and an impressive topline vocal, the forthcoming single is one for the books.
Analyzing the remixes we have Pete K with a progressive/funky house one; Lucas Silow instead has moved the track in a more futuristic road. Sini & RMA has transformed the original one into a powerful and clean pure progressive tune. Tom Tyger has played a lot with the sounds. His remix is completely different from his usual production; something fresh and unique from him. Last but not least we have the Australian talent Marcus Santoro with another completely revisiting of the Shapov's original track.
