Purple Haze (Sander van Doorn) makes his Anjunabeats debut with “Rosy”

As Anjunabeats enters its twentieth year, we welcome a true pioneer to our family: Sander van Doorn under his Purple Haze alias with his debut “Rosy”.

A tech-trance innovator, prolific creator, and in-demand DJ, Sander is one of the most recognizable and versatile artists in the electronic scene. He captures a feverish energy in his records and was instrumental in the evolution of trance and progressive house music in the early noughties. His very own Doorn imprint is home to some of the biggest names in dance music today.

Sander’s Purple Haze alias is on the deeper, darker end of his own creative spectrum. Under this alias, he’s created some of our favorite club records of modern times. We’re thinking of ‘Bliksem’, ‘The Hymn 2.0’ and ‘Bergen’.

We’re pleased to say that his Anjunabeats debut, ‘Rosy’, is yet another bold statement for Sander van Doorn.
