Following their performance in Los Angeles at Academy LA last Friday, NYC electronic duo Black Caviar have revealed their new summer anthem “El Camino”, out on Casablanca/Republic Records on March 22nd.
A fresh new track with a Miami vibe and energetic sound, the track will be in heavy rotation during their upcoming performances in Miami at the Oliver Heldens Heldeep Pool Party, Dada Life’s Rave Spa and their label’s Casablanca Pool Party. Inspired by Miami-native rapper Pitbull, “El Camino” is party anthem that will light up dancefloors and clubs alike.
Fusing a clap heavy beat with catchy chord patterns, “El Camino” features a slick rap vocal influenced by the classic Chevrolet model. This bouncy single rings true to Black Caviar’s sound, with funky beats and a hook that will have fans dancing all night long.
“El Camino” fits in perfectly with the Miami vibe, and Black Caviar sought out inspiration from Pitbull when producing the track. “ We wrote El Camino as an ode to Pitbull. Thank you Mr. Worldwide for your years of service.” Black Caviar, made up of Troy Hinson and Jared Piccone, have racked up over up over 100 million total Spotify streams and are fresh off their latest release “Slippin” on Don Diablo’s label Hexagon.
The NY City duo scored huge success on “What’s Up Danger” – from the Spiderman” Into The Spiderverse soundtrack – which has amassed over 28 million Spotify streams to date. Black Caviar have also proven their skills as remixers, being tapped for remixes for Tiesto, R3HAB and Shaun Frank.
The pair recently announced their 26-date “Got The Bag” North American tour, where they will perform at clubs across the US in Dallas, Atlantic City, Chicago, Detroit as well as festivals including Hangout Festival in Alabama, Escapade Festival in Ottawa and Arrivals Festival in Montreal.
