Don Diablo is in great shape at the beginning of the year. After his remix of the title “High Hopes” by Panic! At The Disco released last week, the king of the Future House returns with an edit of the famous song of the late '90s “King Of My Castle“, taken over by the young talent Keanu Silva.
“I just started making music when the original version of “King Of My Castle” by Whamdue Project got released. Since then I have considered the record to be a timeless classic that still sounds relevant in 2019. When Keanu sent me his first demo of his K.O.M.C. remake I got excited straight away and tested it out in one of my sets. This immediately sparked a lot of creative ideas in my mind, so I started working on a new version in my studio”, says Don Biablo and continues: “We ended up sending a few versions back and forth and then finally, after testing it out more extensively, we agreed on a version that we both loved. Since that day the track has become one of the most requested ID's in my sets and we are excited to finally share it with the world!“
This version is a mix of old school tube and Future House chill. The release of this title also allows us to notice again the presence of keanu silva on the label hexagon. Would Laidback Luke's protégé be changing teams or would Hexagon and Mixmash Families be closely linked? Case to follow! Listen to the track below or buy/stream it here.
