Lost Kings released their highly-anticipated Paper Crowns EP via Distruptor Records / RCA Records, featuring Wiz Khalifa, Norma Jean Martine, Jesper Jenset and Tove Styrke.
We all know wiz khalifa stays high, but when he gets with L.A.-based dance-pop duo lost kings, the high carries into the melodies. There's something truly uplifting about “Don't Kill My High,” the collaborative single with Khalifa and Social House that leads the way for the producers' debut major label EP Paper Crowns.
It's a wonky bit of future bass for dreamers all over the world who want to keep their moods lifted and stay above the brutal facts of life. Khalifa gives what might be his dreamiest performance yet, melting in and out of Social House's vocals so seamlessly, you have to parse out who sang what.
“Don't Kill My High” is joined by three previously-released singles, but in the weeks to come, the EP will add two more tracks, ‘Anti-Everything” with Loren Gray, out Jan. 11, and “F**k U 4 Everything” featuring lauren aquilina, due Jan. 18.
Just as the EP finishes growing, Lost Kings hit the road on a 10-date tour from San Diego to Houston. That kicks off Thursday, Jan. 17. Tickets are on sale now. You can check the full Paper Crowns EP and tour date schedule below.
