Deeplomatic Recordings releases DuBeats “Unreliable EP” with remixes from Electronic Youth and Nik Thrine.
The deep house duo Dubeats were born in Boston, now based in San Diego. These two have been releasing quality tunes all over the spectrum for the past few years and are rapidly expanding their portfolio. OG's of the Staybad crew, and residents of SD's House 2 Ourselves parties, Dubeats have been making significant appearances in SoCal's house scene since relocating in 2017.
Their new EP kicks things off with the title track ‘Unreliable' which provides a relaxing deep vibe from the somber piano chords and smooth grooving basslines that culminate with a beautiful flamenco guitar lead. This title track includes a powerful remix from Electronic Youth which ups the intensity with the pumping kicks and driving basslines his tracks are known for.
These tracks are complimented by the track ‘You & I' that dives back to the deeper side with a focus on its warm piano chords and the underlying funky basslines. It is paired with a stellar Deep Mix by Nik Thrine, which adds an ethereal lead to a groovy minimal style bassline that rounds out the vibe of the entire EP.
The ‘Unreliable' EP moves and grooves its way through a variety of deep stylings and is available now on the UK record label deeplomatic recordings. The label releases tracks from house legends such as Terrence Parker, Robert Babicz, Funk D ́Void, Phonique, Pezzner, Gene Hunt, Einmusik, Ninetoes, Paul Johnson or DJ W!LD to name a few.
