V1. Let's begin this interview with your new release-remix of Omnia's track ‘For The First Time'. Tell us more about it. What led you to put your magic on this 2015 original track – which made it to number #2 in Beatport's Top 100 Trance charts.
Ben Gold: Omnia sent me “For The First Time” a few months before it was released, and I really connected with it, it ticked all the boxes so I requested the parts.. I've played it in so many sets including ASOT, Tomorrowland, Ultra and Creamfields. Really happy to release this remix.
Happy we finally released this stunning @BenGoldMusic remix of Omnia classics ‘For The First Time'! Been playing this banger every show this year! OUT NOW: https://t.co/JwWcqHfMYG @asot @Armada pic.twitter.com/AKV0hu2Vk4

V2. In 2018 you've also released “Sound Advice, Chapter One” via armada music. When should we expect Chapter Two and with what material?
Ben Gold: Sound Advice | Chapter Two is in the works. I learned a lot from producing the last album, so I'm planning on being ahead of schedule this time. I think the ideas for the album are all in place now, I just need to produce the tracks. If my plan of being ahead of schedule sticks, then maybe i'll add another track, we'll see.
V3. With Amsterdam Dance Event ante portas, do you have any special plans on this?
Ben Gold: I live in Amsterdam, and this year will be the first year that ADE is a short distance from my home. I will be performing live on A State Of Trance on the only day I am in town for ADE; I am on tour in Asia the weekend before and in America the weekend after.
V4. What's in store regarding your own releases and songs for the coming months? Anything you would like (and can) reveal to us at this moment?
Ben Gold: My release schedule is looking really great for the rest of 2018. All music for this year is already scheduled, the first half of next year will focus on Sound Advice | Chapter Two, a 4-track EP from a brand new project I am working on. Really exciting stuff.
V5. During the last months, you've also very busy touring from USA to Europe. With a heavy and loaded schedule like yours, what do you miss the most?
Ben Gold: Being on stage and performing is something that I love, I'm blessed to live this life. I really miss the routine of my weekday life; I'm awake at 7am, in the gym at 8am, studio by 11am and eating clean and healthy. A good run of this doesn't last longer than 2 weeks but I try to work out and eat as good as I can on the road, its just often difficult.
V6. Which artists or maybe songs or albums have influenced you the most? Moreover, could you name some up-and-coming producers?
Ben Gold: I will always be a fan, an admirer of Tiesto's Trance. Not only his music, the In Search Of Sunrise series were like nothing else. I still listen to them and I would any trance fan to do so. Timeless. Sheridan Grout, Davey Asprey and AfterMidnight are all doing great things! Keep an eye on this guys!

V7. How did the social media affect your personal life, but also your career as an artist? Is it important in order to cultivate a relationship with your fan base?
Ben Gold: I try and keep them balanced. Other artists are far more active on social media, sharing not just their touring lives, but personal lives too. It is important for fans to connect with you so if you send me a message, I'm going to reply, and it is me, not a social media crew member.
