Flexing the muscles of his production prowess, Carl Bee has delivered his pounding new release, ‘Pacer', a twisted club track that has already received a wealth of support from some of the industry's biggest names, including Solomun, and Joris Voorn.
Dropping on Voorn's iconic ‘Green' label, Carl's after-hours thumper relies on a sumptuous breakdown, and strong tribal elements; showcasing the Maltese producer's gruff, and minimalistic beats.
Enjoying a stellar year in 2018, remixing ‘The Groove' and releasing his Untifight EP via techno behemoth Carl Cox's label, intec digital, Carl Bee is famed for his progressive productions which rely on chopped vocal loops, rumbling hooks, and rippling chords.
Furthermore, displaying his diversity as a producer, Carl has garnered support from underground heavyweights including Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Sasha, Joris Voorn, Nic Fanciulli, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, and Marco Carola in his career thus far, consistently picking up unknown tracks and transforming them into floorfillers.
Having previously amassed a wealth of releases on esteemed labels such as Saved, Lapsus, Lost Records, CR2, Time Has Changed and many more, Bee's ‘Dirt Fader' Leftwing & Kody remix was named as one of the highlights at Sonar by Ibiza Club News, with the track storming its way into the Beatport top 20 Tech House Chart. The release followed Carl's 2016 remix of apexape's ‘joy & pain' which received heavy airplay from BBC Radio 1 tastemaking trio annie mac, pete tong, and Danny Howard.
Performing a summer residency at Gringos, Carl has also played at the bpm festival in Portugal, Cafe Mambo in Ibiza, ABODE at Studio 338, The Lost & Found Festival and Park Life Festival. The thunderous ‘Pacer' is out now.
