Kygo & Sandro Cavazza debut Avicii-inspired ‘Happy Now’

Both Kygo and Sandro Cavazza are known to be close friends of the late Avicii, with the former describing him as one of his biggest inspirations on many occasions and the latter crediting him for kickstarting his career on their collaboration ‘Without You'. and have been seen working in the studio together teasing an upcoming collaboration, which has finally been debuted by Kygo himself at iHeartRadio Music Festival, titled ‘Happy Now'.

Kygo invited Sando Cavazza onto the stage to perform this wonderful track together for the first time. Although ‘Happy Now' is not an outright tribute to the late DJ and producer, there are lyrical elements in the song which talk about losing someone close.

Kygo truly pioneered the tropical house sound, bringing it to festivals around the world, as well as smashing the charts with tracks like ‘Firestone‘ amongst many others, the Norwegian is known worldwide for his sound. The prospect of new music from such an artist always creates a huge buzz, and now the producer has teased who he will work with next, with the end product guaranteed to be special.

The Norwegian DJ and producer has recently been in the news after recently giving a contribution of $30,000 to the ‘Tomorrow Needs You' campaign – an effort run by famous non-profit aimed to help those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. Not only did this sizable contribution come on World Suicide Prevention Day, but it also came smack in the middle of National Suidice Prevention Week.

‘Happy Now' is driven by Sandro Cavazza's incredible vocals which are accompanied perfectly by Kygo's signature tropical style. Complimenting the singing with catchy chords and melodies which are bound to stick in your head from the first time you listen.
