In the midst of their coveted 12-week residency at Hï Ibiza alongside Eric Prydz, highly-rated UK production duo Solardo (consisting of MRK1 & James Elliot) are back with their hotly anticipated new track ‘Be Somebody' via Ultra Music, having aired the single to rapturous reception in their live sets over the course of the past year.
Sampling American house act Ruffneck's 1995 classic ‘Everybody Be Somebody', Solardo use a rumbling build-up on the production, before introducing a rattling percussive breakdown. ‘Be Somebody' represents the vibrancy of Solardo's live sets; featuring a thumping bass line with a rumbling hook adding real depth to the production.

Having released EPs on toolroom records, Jamie Jones' Hot Creations and Green Velvet's Relief Records, Solardo have since launched their own imprint, Sola. The label has so far housed productions from the likes of CamelPhat, Secondcity, Mason Maynard and Will Easton.
This summer, they landed an acclaimed residency alongside Eric Prydz at Hï Ibiza and have just announced the launch of their new curated club night series HIGHER; hosting a line-up with the likes of claude vonstroke, Heidi, Seb Zito, Paul Woolford, Dense & Pika and more playing. This will be part of the iconic event series warehouse project taking place in their hometown of Manchester.
After selling out The Warehouse Project at the end of last year, the pair kicked off 2018 with their second sold-out Solardo Sessions UK tour. It also included European dates in Barcelona, Milan and Rotterdam. Following this, they completed a relentless stint of shows in the States. It also included sets at Movement Detroit and EDC las vegas.

Touring and music aside, the duo have even found time to start their own radio show named ‘The Spot'. It has seen special guests come through such as Claude VonStroke, Nicole Moudaber, MK, Skream and many more. The support for Solardo has been consistently across the board and as solid as the bass weight their tracks possess.
Solardo's ‘Be Somebody' has already been attracting support from several notable names in the industry and is out now.
