It seems that Eric Prydz was giving Above & Beyond the honors of debuting the first single from his upcoming Pryda EP, but it appears he gave Tiesto the true honors.
While ABGT featured one track without naming it, Tiesto has the entire EP in full with track names.
Tiesto premiered the EP in full on his Club Life Radio Episode 580. This tracklist should delight plenty of the Eric Prydz fandom, and you can be sure you’ll hear these tracks coming up at EDC, Tomorrowland, and beyond this Summer.
The EP opens up with ‘Element’ a typical Prydz-ish progressive gem, with fast and rising melodies that flow in a hypnotic drop.
We are sure we’re going to listen to it a lot in the future Eric’s show, especially in his upcoming new ‘HOLO’ show.
The second one which is called ‘The Hooks’ is more melodic and trance oriented; it goes very deep in the breakdown thanks also to the rough and industrial sounds used.
‘Project Love’ is the third one and inject some lovely and deep vibes on the EP; the record is super melodic and nostalgic with uplifting strings and melodies.
The EP closes with ‘Obsessive Progressive’ and we think the track name says it all. A true progression of sounds that start very quiet and shy evolving itself into a tight rhythm made by hard percussions and electronic synths.
The EP hasn’t a name and a release date yet but we are sure we haven’t to wait a lot more to enjoy it. in the meantime, you can hear the RIP fro Tiesto podcast below.
