Two Friends made a free bootleg of Charlie Puth‘s hit ‘How Long‘! Previously, Matt and Eli, aka Two Friends, were living up to their reputation as the friendliest guys in dance music, with the release of their benefit single, ‘Just A Kid', on Spinnin' Records.
“Charlie Puth's been killing it and we've always loved his vibe and songwriting so we were stoked to have the opportunity to remix ‘How Long'. It was super cool trying to put our electronic spin on it while keeping a bunch of the funkier and more minimal elements of the original. Proud of how it turned out and excited to play it on tour. During the summer of 2016, Two Friends went to volunteer at United In Harmony, a non-profit that provides a summer camp experience to homeless children in Los Angeles. The duo led songwriting workshops, helping the kids write and create their own songs; for many of them this was their first-ever musical endeavour. Set upon making the whole experience truly special, they brought the campers on to be a part of a Two Friends song, creating ‘Just A Kid'.
