Fonk Recordings label boss Dannic is back on his own imprint with a brand new edit of Rayven & Valexx's groovy weapon ‘Old School'.

The Italian duo consisting of Ruben & Valerio have been busy over the last year releasing melodic funk based bangers across respected labels such as Flamingo Records, Armada Music & protocol recordings, which has quickly established them firmly as artists to look out for in the future, thanks to support coming from the legendary David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, don diablo & more.
Sharing not only a passion for (house) music, but also their Italian roots, Ruben and Valerio quickly became friends and started producing together. The Rayven & Valexx sound is inspired by Afro Latin, Funky Disco Groove, but most importantly their music is full of melancholic melodies and energy!
The up & coming pair's new funky jam follows on from head honcho dannic's philosophy of helping out the new guys & pushing them to the top of their game, and with this edit, its clear that the three of them have done something right as ‘Old School's' groovy atmosphere will have everyone moving when it is played out.
The new record fits the theme of fonk recordings with its Latin-esque groovy vibe throughout, which is reminiscent of the great classic house artists who are huge inspirations to Rayven & Valexx.
‘Old School' is a clever clash of funky house and Big-room that utilises elements of both genres in moments such as the epic breakdown and the funky build up to the second drop.
