We acknowledge that Kled Mone‘s passion to interpret mythical songs in his own style is courageous and admirable. To speak the truth, when we see covers like this one we are always prejudiced about the result. However, Kled Mone surprised us once again, as his his new cover of “Heathens” by 21 Pilots is explicit.
With a bit heavier kicks and beats compared to this previous productions, the Greek talent reincarnates a darker, melancholic version of the famous track, which preserves the vulnerable details and emotional intensity of the original using Amersa‘s beautiful voice.
Kled Mone‘s previous attempt that caught our attention was his unique perception of Metallica‘s heavy metal hymn “Nothing Else Matters”, where he used Yalena’s amazing voice instead of James Hetfield’s original vocals, into a certain range of deep electronic elements.
Defined by dark and melancholic chords, Kled Mone’s sound is balancing between vulnerable details and emotional intensity while maintaining a certain range of electronic elements. As a remixer, Kled Mone has worked on well known artists, such as Moby, Leona Lewis, Bastille, Julia Stone, Duke and more.
