Jeremy Olander is flexing his A&R talents with a quickly growing roster of artists now under his Vivrant imprint wing.
Following a booming debut from Khen, German artist Tim Engelhardt has become the latest to arrive with an EP titled ‘Maks’.
The title track is a slow-burning, delicate house tune that serves as the warm-up for the collection’s following two tracks ‘Poly Seven’ and ‘Time Will Save Your Soul’.
Tim Engelhardt‘s debut on Vivrant, the ‘Maks’ EP, is a true testament to the young German’s versatility, talent and uncanny maturity as a producer.
The lead record ‘Maks’ is a deep, melodic voyage and offers multiple trippy synth layers that beautifully contrast the serene lead.
Second out the gates, ‘Poly Seven’ brings forth a darker, thumping and somewhat more banging side of Engelhardt’s work.
Last but not least, ‘Time Will Save Your Soul’ is a driving, powerful melody-laden journey juxtaposed against a characteristic sawtooth bass that perfectly ties the knot for one the strongest EP projects in Tim Engelhardt’s career.
Tim Engelhardt mission is to find the most powerful expression for the sounds in his head, which is why his music sounds nothing like your run-of-he-mill, straight-to-DJ floor chow, but subtly turns heads with a cohesive, fully-formed musical vision that shines in the club and at home.
