Today sees the release of Swedish newcomer Sylvain Armand’s exquisite re-work of Bay Ledge’s sublime track ‘Safe’, out now via BMG. A year after its original release, Armand has jumped on board to give the track a new lease of life with this stellar dance cut.
Gathering support from the likes of Axwell /\ Ingrosso and David Guetta recently, Armand has no doubt firmly established himself as a one-to-watch for 2017, with his rapid rise is no doubt due to his masterful command of seductive, soul-infused dance music.
In ‘Safe’ he keeps much of the glitchy, indie-pop vibe so effortlessly established in Bay Ledge’s original track, adding a minimalistic dance edge; the warm, low-frequency tones and stylish piano flourishes throughout complement and enhance the hazy vocals, adding to the song’s postcard-to-a-lover sentimentality.
With a graphic and flamboyant lyric video to boot, ‘Safe’ is the soundtrack to a poolside summer, and is sure to be heard in beach bars across the world throughout the season.
In support of this release, this summer Sylvain Armand will be embarking on a European tour. Stay up-to-date with all latest announcements via his socials.
