Platinum-selling artist Felix Jaehn enlists South African DJ/producer Kyle Watson, to craft a remix of ‘Hot2Touch’.
Out today via Polydor/Island, Kyle’s rendition of the track is the second of three remixes of Jaehn’s latest hit with vocalist Alex Aiono and producer Hight.
Built around Alex Aiono’s original vocal, Kyle Watson’s rework begins with swirling synths, before a dark bassline and disjointed melodies come into play.
The original of ‘Hot2Touch’ was co-written by British producer Hight, who is currently making his mark on the dance music realm with his latest release on Spinnin’ Records.
The summer-infused anthem has gained over 25 million Spotify plays to date and exhibits both Jaehn’s and Hight’s impeccable production styles combined with Aiono’s effortless vocal prowess, already hitting #1 in the Airplay chart in Jaehn’s native Germany.
Born and raised in Johannesburg, Kyle Watson is one of the hottest dance acts to come out of South Africa in recent times.
Classically trained from a young age, Watson has built on these abilities to perfect his eclectic dance sound.
Armed with original productions and official remixes, Watson has already remixed Oliver Heldens ‘I Don’t Wanna Go Home’ released at Heldeep Records.
Jaehn is gearing up for his extensive run of tour dates across Europe where he’ll make an eagerly-awaited return to Corona Sunsets in London and Tomorrowland in Belgium.
Jaehn will also head back to Ibiza, where he’ll play four dates across the Island, including BIG by David Guetta and Kygo’s residency at Ushuaia, Blackout at Amnesia and Hï Sundays at Hï Ibiza.
