Parisian duo, Montmartre, unveil their next single, “When You Feel It” out now. “When You Feel It” flaunts a catchy guitar hook that dances back and forth with the vocals until the rhythm of the beat gently slides in and eventually builds into an energy packed, sun drenched combination.
The track as a whole evokes feelings of nostalgia and summer by virtue of an accomplished and memorable performance all thanks to the French duo.
Consisting of Hugo Lab and Alex Enki, French electronic music duo Montmartre are on the rise having their music compared to artists such as Daft Punk, Phoenix and Empire of the Sun.
Guitarist Hugo comes from a classical upbringing originally playing the cello and attending music school, whilst Alex’s background is in producing electronic music.
The group’s name, Montmartre, comes from the district in Paris where their studio is located. 2014 was a big year for the duo’s career as they made their debut releasing their Inside Of Me EP which featured two original songs as well as remixes from Yuksek, Skogsrå, Robotaki and Knucle G.
That same year, Montmartre received 3rd place in a worldwide competition for a remix of C2C’s “Happy” and following this have released remixes for artists such as Adele, Bob Marley, The Kooks and more. More recently, the pair released their LP Hope in 2016.
