Tommy Trash has been busy as of late – aside from putting out a remix pack for his recent Group Chat EP, the Grammy and VMA-nominated producer's social media also shows he's been hard at work in the studio the past few months.
Now, fans can finally begin seeing the fruits of that labor with the release of his new collaboration on Armada with up-and-coming artist DENM titled “Dreamer.” The stellar indie-dance track marks the Australian artist's return to the esteemed label, and a debut on the imprint for DENM.
While Tommy Trash is best known for his iconic, larger-than-life progressive and electro productions, and DENM is already receiving recognition for his sophisticated and chilled out indie-pop style, the two successfully join their ostensibly disparate sounds for this instant anthem. Mixed with a driving yet bouncy bass line, shout-along lyrics, and a carefree and upbeat feel, ensure that this song will be heard everywhere all summer long
DENM says the following on the collaboration: “Tommy and I have been writing tons of songs together lately. We honestly work really well together. So in the midst of writing, he showed me this instrumental and I just started singing something over it. I decided to lay the vocals down and it turned into ‘Dreamer'!”
