Australian artist Kaz James makes his debut on Saved with the powerful single “Arizona”, due out now on Saved Records. The production is driven by rhythmic keys that advance alongside an impactful drop provided by strings and a grooving beat. Completing the release is a remix from French artist The Mekanism who has just released an album on Seth Troxler’s “Play It Say It” imprint and demonstrates why he is in such demand with his tribal-tinged remix. “Arizona” has already appeared during Carl Cox and Nic Fanciulli’s recent B2B set and has received play time by Pete Tong and Danny Howard on their acclaimed BBC Radio 1 shows.
If you’re lucky enough to experience one of Kaz James’ 10-hour marathon sets you’ll understand why he’s been a resident at the internationally renowned Pacha Ibiza for over a decade. For the past two years, he’s held a residency at the hottest beach club in the world, Scorpios in Mykonos Greece, and is also a resident at America’s leading electronic club Sound in Hollywood.
The Aussie born Greek-Italian, has been DJing since high school, and was signed by Universal Records UK at the age of 21. Since then, Kaz James has been globetrotting as both a DJ and producer; showcasing memorable performances all around the world in cities like Berlin, and New York, and at major events like BPM and Glastonbury.
Kaz’s roster includes dance hits like “Loose Control,” “Give It Up” and “Inside Your Arms” and consistently plays alongside friends such as Seth Troxler, Jackmaster, The Martinez Brothers, Solomun, Pete Tong, Black Coffee and more. He’s won numerous awards, including the coveted ASCAP Dance Award in 2006.
He even scored a cut on the Hollywood blockbuster film, The Fast and the Furious, which landed him a #1 spot on the Billboard charts. 2017 will see Kaz continue his fleet of iconic performances across the world from his Sunday night residency at Scorpios in Mykonos to the acclaimed Rumors party in Ibiza make sure you check out Kaz James this summer.
