Best known as a globe-trotting house DJ, Funkerman, the alias of Ardie van Beek
The successful producer and co-founder of Flamingo Recordings, delivers funk, soul and disco tunes, among which reincarnations of ‘Speed up’ and ‘Rule The Night’, collabs with Jack York (Ready For The Summer, Lifted), Enlery (Love Parade), Berry James & Lovetho (Lifted) and Isotobia Forrest (She’s a Fighter).
My musical collection expanded as I am very proud to present to you the arrival of my new album ‘Another Version Of Me’. This album honors the old masters of funk, soul and disco. An infectious pop/disco album, incorporating eight new sounds and two you probably recognize.
Funkerman had also mixed the Flamingo Nights 5: Miami 2017 compilation, including some classics that got new remixes and edits.
