So today is a cool day for The Chainsmokers. Its Friday, and they have 3 shows, and they are putting out their 2nd EP titles “Collage” on Disruptor Records/Columbia Records, with their brand new song “Setting Fires” featuring XYLO.

This is really cool because they treat these EP's like chapters in their creativity. They know they aren't albums because they aren't cohesive ideas of music, or a story, but they do represent a period in their lives as musicians and putting out the EP marks the end of one chapter and also an exciting new beginning.

They have some really cool things in the works that are going to be really challenging but exciting… Anyway, this new track is one they have been holding onto for a while but are super excited about.

It's a little bit of a departure from the past few tracks which they wrote, produced and sing on, this one is just a production and has more of a club party feel but they loved it too much to let it slip through the cracks, and XYLO sounds amazing on it. They are this super dark and moody indie band that we have been huge fans of, so it was sick to work with them on this.

So with that said…

They hope you enjoy the tunes and if you find yourself in South Florida tomorrow they are playing at EDC Orlando, the Haunted House in and then Story. On Saturday they'll be back in thei second home !

1) Drew sprained his ankle recently at a show so he will be sitting in a stool at our next shows like a wimp…
2) They are performing Closer with at the AMA's
3) Closer is now 11 weeks strong on Billboard Hot 100 which is the longest streak of the year for any song
4) Alex is scared of Drains
