Fresh off the back of their eccentric video release of their collaboration “Bike Engine,” Jacob Plant and Stylo G’s fiery dancehall anthem receives a pair of remixes from Doorly and Raffa FL.
Since it’s release, the original single has gained massive support across Radio 1, with Nick Grimshaw, Annie Mac and Huw Stephens to name a few. ‘Bike Engine’ has amassed over 400,000 Spotify Streams and over 25k Shazams so far, all while the accompanying music video soars above 150,000 views.
Doorly’s “Bike Engine” rework moves away from the original almost entirely; keeping Stylo G’s vocal hook, the remix is filled with smooth piano chords, additional percussive elements and a grooving bassline, aimed to bow out the summer.
A house-facing rendition of “Bike Engine,” Raffa FL’s remix is armed with catchy hi-hats, scattered synth hooks, a prominent bassline and Stylo G’s warped vocal, aimed directly to the dancefloor.
Loadstar takes an aggressive approach to rendering “Bike Engine,” obliterating any trace of pop-savviness and opting for an in-your-face drum’n’bass version that belongs in a world of its own.
