Behdad Nejatbakshe aka Uppermost, is back with ‘Watch You Blaze', a club-ready cut that will undoubtedly be setting festivals and clubs alight in the coming summer months.
The second installment from Behdad's upcoming ‘Impact' EP (out April 22nd) Watch You Blaze' is out via his own imprint, UPPWIND, and is available to download and stream now.
The young Parisian is back in full force with a second hit straight after the successful release of ‘Talisman'. Reminiscent of Behdad's French electro-pop heritage, it features the warm and edgy vocals of Californian-based artist, Dutch Party.
Although “Watch You Blaze” is a high-powered, dynamic house track, Uppermost brings down the BPM mid-way, introducing snaps and xylophone embellishments over playful, melodic synth-work. With euphoric builds and goosebump-inducing drops, this is undoubtedly one of Behdad's most refined cuts to date.
Coupled with the track comes a hedonistic lyric video depicting a day in the life of Uppermost. The catchy lyrics are featured over scenes of Behdad getting ready for a gig with friends and playing his regular fully packed club concerts.
Known for his hits “Flashback” and “Beautiful Light” that both received over 9 million views on YouTube, the talented Behdad refuses to be classified within the constraints of specific genres. Skilled at producing a wide spectrum of styles, he emphasizes emotive expression and accompanies this with creative and complicated synth-work, raising his music to a globally accessible and appreciated standard.
Keep an eye out for Uppermost's highly anticipated ‘Impact' EP due to come out on the 22nd of April with six tracks that stretch far out within the confines of electronic music.
