When it comes to deep-house French DJ and producer Watermät is far ahead. His ability to present so many new ideas and influences in the genre is admirable. “Empire” is another impressing attempt that'll be released as a single on the Spinnin ‘Records imprint Spinnin' Deep in 07 March 2016.
Premiered by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio1 show, Watermät continues with another successful production, following “Bullit” and “Frequency”, which were one of the greatest innovations in the genre till now. If you have not heard them yet, you should definitely check them out.
The early productions of Watermät were all strongly influenced by his typical sirens elements. With “Empire” you can clearly hear a certain development. The beginning of the break is kept very atmospheric and the new sirens are compelling.
