An album of previously unreleased music by Avicii will be released this year, a new report has said. As reported in Swedish entertainment magazine Aftonbladet, the late EDM star – real name tim bergling – had a considerable collection of finished music ready to be released before his tragic death aged 28 last month.

Now, Neil Jacobson – president of Avicii's former label Geffen Records – has revealed that the company have been in talks with the DJ/producer's family and that it appears the release has been given the green light from them.
It is reported that Bergling had intended to work with numerous other artists as part of the record and it is possible that a review may take place whereby some of those artists may still contribute to the album.
No further details are available as of now, and no release date has been set.
Avicii was found dead in his hotel room in Oman last month (20th April) with his family releasing a statement implying he has taken his own life. He was 28 years old.
