Tiësto has certainly made his intentions clear for 2017. Releasing the radio-hit “On My Way” alongside bright sparks earlier this year, the flying Dutchman has wasted little time in communicating his plans and teasing their results.
Having held his brand and logo for several years now, it is a move that many wouldn't have seen coming. Especially given his iconic status within electronic dance music. However, with the tweet featured below, the video clip's symbolism itself speaks volumes of the energy behind the change.
As We Rave You reports, releasing a new line of merchandise in conjunction with his revitalised logo, the simpler format reflects his legendary standing in the industry, and its lack of need for visual stimulation. Bold and stand-alone in graphic placement, the block print will no doubt apply nicely to all of the products he releases.
Seemingly rejuvenated, Tiësto's latest tweet reflects what could be a swathe of new soundscapes and trends, tying in neatly with the overall re-branding.
While many will desire a return to his trance days, and other a continued push to form and fuel new trends, we are excited either way for what is to come from the icon!
