Andrea Oliva Teams Up With Pete Tong For ‘All Gone Pete Tong Ibiza 2016’

With the Ibiza season now in full swing, pete tong returns to catalogue this season's biggest tunes with his annual All Gone Pete Tong Ibiza compilation.

This season's mix takes a new twist, as the compilation sees Pete go back to back with one of Ibiza's fastest rising talents, andrea oliva.

The two played a thrilling backtoback set at Pete's All Gone Pete Tong miami pool party a few months ago, paving the way for the 2016 Ibiza mix.

Oliva has gone from strength to strength in the last few years, with releases on labels like Desolat, Objektivity, Defected, Viva Music and Mobilee amongst others.

He's gained a reputation as one of Ibiza's most in demand DJs through his weekly headline slot at Ushuaia Ibiza's flagship underground party, ANTS. He's also making his Music On debut this year, and is one of the seven residents to play all night on the Space Terrace for Elrow.

With releases on hot since 82's Knee Deep in Sound and the martinez brothers' Cuttin' Headz later this year, it's little wonder Pete noted him as one of this year's breakout Ibiza acts, and asked him to join him on the AGPT compilation.

Few individuals in the world of dance music can claim the kind of influence Pete Tong has had over the last twenty years.

With an unparalleled ear for new talent, Tong is the leading tastemaker of the electronic generation and this compilation is another masterclass in curation.

The mix is tailor-made for the journey from dreamy Ibiza sunset to peak time clubs; from Lee Burridge and Lost Desert's melodic, guitar on ‘Stand Up Right', to the energetic ‘Captivate' from Patrick Topping towards the middle of the mix.

Patrice Bäumel, Lee Van Dowski, and KiNK's productions all feature and add momentum to the mix. Of course, Andrea Oliva also features, debuting his remix of Pete Tong and John Monkman's original ‘Aurora'

The compilation also features exclusives from two fast rising stars in house music; Cristoph and Theo Kottis. Kottis' dreamy ‘Running Nowhere' closes out the compilation in perfect fashion, with glistening piano chords bringing the track to a crescendo.

Earlier in the mix, Cristoph's ‘Endoxus' helps to set the mood of the mix as it moves into its peak time section.
