[av_textblock size=” font_color=” color=”] Martin Garrix has already made mention of his debut album a couple of times in 2016, which likely accounts for his sparse releases so far this festival season. So here it comes the first single called “Lions In The Wild”, which is a collaboration with Britain’s talented act Third Party.
Having parted ways with parent label Spinnin’ Records and their accompanying management team, the young Dutch superstar is to release this epic production on his own music label, STMPD RCRDS – pronounced “stamped” – on May 27, 2016.
Garrix debuted both “Lions In The Wild (#LITW)” during his set at Ultra Music Festival in March, but only rips of each from the performance have been available up to this point. As part of the build up, the official video teaser was uploaded on Martin Garrix’s YouTube account yesterday.
An account boasting nearly 3 million subscribers, resulting in the 37 second video amassing over 120,000 views in the first 24 hours.
Striking in sound, the video clip features breath-taking shots of a variety of landscapes, helping set up a modern interpretation of the primitive theme of the track.
Quad bikes, sunset’s, desert’s and coastal views are included in a very polished package. Reflecting the quality STMPD RCRDS seems to be pursuing.
Martin Garrix has opened up the potential to produce and release pretty much whatever he wants, helping young talents like him do the same.
