Determined to brings us one of the biggest dance smashes of the Autumn and beyond, Manovski decided over a year ago to sell his studio in Sydney and move to London. There he joined the emerging tropical house scene that was started developing at the Tileyard Studios Complex, where songs like Kygo’s “Stole The Show” and Sigala’s “Easy Love” were conceived.
Shortly he began collaborating with Sigala, co-writing and co-producing his UK top10 single ‘Give Me your Love’ feat. John Newman & Nile Rodgers, and the latest single ‘Just Got Paid’ feat. Ella Eyre, Meghan Traynor & French Montana. Following on from this, Manovski has further songs with Steve Aoki, Jason Derulo, Flo Rida, as well as Hardwell & Austin Mahone (he co-wrote their collaborative single “Creatures Of The Night”). To date and across his current releases as a writer/producer, Manovski has amassed over 250M streams.
Viralbpm sat down with the rising music maker for an exclusive Manovski interview to talk about latest releases, upcoming tracks, favorite producers and many more.
V1. You stated about the track that “I wanted to create something that makes you dance and sing at the same time and overall that makes you feel happy! I feel the lyrics are quite universal in the sense that we all have been there at some point”. Is this one of the main goals you want to create with your songs? Do you prefer to talk about themes that most people can relate to?
Manovski: I think relatability is something we all look for in music as it’s something that can connect us all and doesn’t discriminate. It also reminds us that we all go though the same emotions.. just in different ways.
V2. Any future plans regarding releases, records or collaborations in 2019 you can already reveal to us? Maybe some small hints?
Manovski: Lots of music to come in 2019… Stay tuned!

V3. Is there any area you would like to work on and get better as an artist or producer?
Manovski: Definitely… I’m always trying to improve and grow as an artist/producer. I’d like to get better at narrowing the gap between catchy pop song and dance floor banger!!
V4. What tools, instruments or programs do you use for recording and creating your own tracks?
Manovski: I mainly work in the box on protools, using real instruments like guitars and sampled sounds as much as possible. Ironically, since I started out as a drummer. Lately I’ve been getting back into a soft synth plugin called Serum, and also u-he Diva for some analogue vibes!
V5. You have worked with a lot of people on their tracks, is there anyone you really like to work with and why?
Manovski: I get asked this a lot and I don’t really have an answer for it, I just like working with good talented people. I usually get a good song when I’ve spent the day laughing and joking around with the other writers in the room. So perhaps a comedian might be an interesting choice!
V6. Is there any artist you really admire these days? Maybe someone you would like to work with together on a new track?
Manovski: I really admire Calvin Harris as he’s been around for a while now and always seems to stay relevant ands setting the trends… or at least making them popular.
V6. When you’re out there travelling because of performances or working on tracks, is there anything in particular you really miss from your hometown?
Manovski: My own bed!! I like waking up to my comforts like a good coffee and breakfast in the morning!
V7. Thank you for your time and we hope you will keep doing your thing in the future. We wish you all the best! Any final words you want to share with the Viralbpm readership?
Manovski: Thank you for the support. I’d be interesting to know whom your readership think that should remix my single Gotta Be You and who they would like me to remix next!
