Australian-Greek Multi-Platinum Artist VASSY is so excited to reveal all three packages of her “Doomsday (The Remixes)” with Lodato. In just a couple weeks of VASSY x Lodato – Doomsday original release, it was streamed over 400K times and it was also the most added song on the Billboard Dance Charts for three consecutive weeks and has been dominating the us Dance Airplay Top 50!
Later on, VASSY offered remix duties on various up and coming artists around the globe, releasing them in three phases: “Doomsday (The Remixes) Vol. 1, 2 & 3”. More specifically, Vol.1 featuring remixes by Dark Intensity, CoHo 42, JGMBJ & Mimo, Vol.2 featuring remixes by Kue, Raphael Valentino, Angelyna Rose & Dramos and, lastly, Vol.3 featuring remixes by Liam Keegan & Riddler, Ray rhodes, Dan Thomas & Fresh.
VASSY x Lodato – Doomsday was enhanced with an official video featuring animated characters VASSY and Lodato speeding off into the horizon in a futuristic vehicle escaping the explosive apocalyptic chaos. While driving towards her escape, she is presented with a colorful meteor shower which coincides with the climax of the track. When speaking on the process behind writing the song, VASSY has mentioned that it's about battling your inner demons and always being prepared to tackle whatever obstacle life throws your way. VASSY's cartoon counterpart maintains a calm composure throughout the entirety of her chaotic journey, which draws a parallel to ‘Doomsday's' underlying message. The video wraps up with VASSY & Lodato stepping into a spaceship before venturing into space to begin a new chapter of their lives.
Additionally, VASSY joined the Sony Music family in a new joint venture launching her label, KMV MUSIC. ‘VASSY x Lodato – Doomsday' marked the beginning of a successful string of forthcoming releases that will be out via KMV MUSIC / Sony Red Music imprint.
