Having released ‘Moving On', ‘Home Tonight' and ‘Only Reason' with Rico & Miella already after going solo, following a globally successful career as part of DJ-duo volt & state, Quentyn is back with yet another smash song of his own. Partnering up with vauss, while featuring acapella from the crushboys, with “Monster” the Dutch DJ, producer, and sound engineer offer a very retro-inspired song, quite funky and progressive.
We were excited to have checked in with him almost one year, after his solo project began, and watched his music steps till this fifth release on his own imprint Enroute Records called “Monster”, which is already supported by nicky romero and Hardwell.
“I got an email from Vauss out of the blue actually. He sent me an idea, which I really loved and from there we finished it together (he's definitely one to keep an eye on!). I wanted to add a vocal to it and then I heard this acapella from The Crushboys via my publisher. We had to transpose the track to make it fit the key, but in the end, it felt like a great match!“, says Quentyn on a recent interview with 1001tracklists.com, where he revealed that he has got a cinematic orchestral track and disco track coming up, also a lot of the 80s inspired music.
